Tim is author of the best-sellers The Tax Freedom Zone,
Winning The Tax Game, Winning The Estate Planning Game and
Winning The Education Savings Game. He is co-author of Death
& Taxes, Your Family’s Money and editor of the
best-seller Taxes for Canadians for Dummies. Tim is also
a tax commentator for television’s CBC Newsworld,
Canada AM, ROBTv, and tax columnist for The Globe &
Mail’s Report on Business.
After obtaining his CA designation and specializing in
tax with national accounting firm Deloitte & Touche,
Tim became a tax partner at a local accounting firm. He
later founded The WaterStreet Group Inc. which has merged
with AIC Limited and now forms AIC’s National Tax
Services Group, known as the Tax Smart Team.
Tim has completed the CICA’s In-Depth Tax Course,
the Canadian Securities Course, and is a member of the Canadian
Tax Foundation and a member of the teaching faculty of the
Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. He appears
on national television and radio frequently, and is a regular
speaker on tax and estate issues coast to coast.
Isabelle Dailly, FALU
Business Development Manager
Underwriting expert for B.C., Alberta and the Midwest
Isabelle Dailly joined RBC Insurance in
1997 and brings her experience as an advanced underwriting
consultant and underwriting manager to the Western Region
Business Development Teams. Well-known for her technical
expertise in underwriting and communications skills, Isabelle
also has a passion for training and regularly presents underwriting
seminars to representatives in Western Canada. Isabelle
serves on the Academy of Life Underwriters Education Committee
Seminar Group, and is actively involved in the underwriting
profession.
Rick Forchuk, MBA, CFP, CLU, CH.F.C.

Rick entered the life insurance business as a producer in
1971. He qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table four
times before entering management on a full-time basis, and
consistently produced more than 100 life applications each
year.
Since 1975 he has been involved in a number of management
capacities, having filled the roles of Training Manager,
Sales Manager, Branch Manager, and Head Office National
Director of Agent and Management Training. In his current
role, he is responsible for the Empire Financial Group’s
operations in the four Western Provinces.
Rick is the past National President of MAFAC, the Manager’s
Association of Financial Advisors of Canada, and is past
president of the Vancouver chapter. He has been a member
of CAIFA executives in Vancouver, Edmonton, and in Waterloo,
Ontario.
A frequent presenter and faculty member at CAIFA Schools
and Congresses from coast-to-coast in Canada, Rick has also
spoken at several NAIFA meetings throughout the United States.
He has a BA in Media and Mass Communications which fit
with a background in media, having come out of the daily
newspaper and radio business, and he continues this involvement
as a movie and media critic on radio stations in Victoria,
Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton with regular commentaries.
In 2002 he completed his MBA studies with a major in Strategic
Management.
Rick has been married to Betty, a grief counsellor, for
37 years. They have one daughter, Natalie, age 29.
Keith Hanna

Keith Hanna is a personal and business development coach
with 15 years of experience in accompanying entrepreneurs

Sean Long has been selling and marketing insurance products
for the last 27 years. In that time he has qualified for

Marty Park

Marty held senior level positions in
the technology and hospitality industry prior to becoming
an Action International business coach. Marty brings eleven
years of broad management experience to clients. As a business
coach, Marty was recently awarded Business Coach of the
Year for North America at an international conference in
New Zealand.
The co-owner and operator of seven successful
Calgary-based businesses, he has been involved in all phases
of start-up, including corporate strategy, sales and marketing,
and financial operations. His technology experience includes
positions as manager of Consulting Services and manager
of Product Development for the software firm Noteable! Inc.
and as general manager for Intellitech Communications Inc,
a company he helped found in 1991. Marty is currently the
owner and shareholder in 6 successful Calgary restaurants
started in 1997 and still expanding today.
An experienced project manager, Marty has
